The two people who were found dead in a crashed car Wednesday in southwest Allen County have been identified.
The Allen County Coroner identified the pair Thursday as Jana Denise Himes, 48, and Gabriel Himes, 45, both from Ossian.
The investigation took place near the intersection of Yohne and Smith roads. For an unknown reason, the car the victims were in missed a curve in the road and ended up several hundred feet in the woods.
The crashed car was discovered Wednesday morning by construction workers.
The coroner determined both victims died from multiple blunt force injuries in the crash.
