Polls opened promptly at six different polling centers across Adams County Tuesday in one of the most anticipated elections in a generation.
Nearly 50 people were on hand at the Riverside Center in Decatur when the poll worker called out the traditional “Hear ye, Hear ye” notice. Officials there expect a steady stream of voters throughout the 12-hour window of voting.
Those six polling centers are as follows:
- Bridge Community Church: 1403 Winchester Rd., Decatur, IN 46733
- Riverside Center: 231 E. Monroe Street, Decatur, IN 46733
- Monroe Fire Station: 233 Tower Dr., Monroe, IN 46772
- First Missionary Church, 950 US Hwy 27, S. Berne, IN 46711
- Bridge Community Church: 406 E. Parr Rd., Berne, IN 46711
- 100 High St., Bldg. : 100 High Street, Geneva, IN 46740
