The Bellmont Braves got a glimpse of top-notch competition Tuesday when they hosted a late-arriving Leo team and fell, 5-0, in NE8 play.
Boasting some pretty serious ground strokes across the varsity lineup, the Lions pounced on the Bellmont serves and forced the home team into more double faults than they’re accustomed to, granting the visitors an even bigger advantage.

The Braves got a strong performance from Layne LeMaster in his match at No. 2 singles and also from the top doubles team of James Miller and Kaden Ramsey.

The team will seek a victory at home again Thursday when they host Norwell.
