Adams County’s public transportation system is running well and growing in popularity. The county’s director of the Council on Aging is Michelle Lengerich, and she is in charge of the Adams County Transit System. Lengerich told WZBD’s Ed Thurman that the bus and van system has grown substantially over the past couple of years…but funding is starting to become an issue…
The 8-bay facility to house the buses and vans used by the county’s transit system is being paid for through a combination of federal, state, and local funding, and should take less than a month to build once construction begins.
