Adams Central faced a tough task in hosting the Norwell Knights Thursday evening and they came away with just one set as a consolation prize in an otherwise forgettable night as the visitors cruised to a 5-0 victory.

The most entertaining and only competitive match of the varsity night was at No. 1 singles, where Brody Isch and Mason Fruechte showed some grit to bounce back from a 6-2 loss in the opening set to capture the second set in a tiebreaker, 8-6.
The Jets are back in action Wednesday at Concordia.
