There was little to separate the Bulldogs and Starfires Thursday night, especially at No. 3 singles, where all three sets went to tiebreaks before Jacob Turnwald ultimately delivered the New Haven Bulldogs an exciting 3-2 victory, knocking South Adams from the ranks of the unbeaten in Berne.
