Decatur resident Mark Gambill has been charged with attempted arson by Adams County Prosecutor Jeremy Brown. According to documents released by Brown on Thursday, and obtained by WZBD, the arson allegedly occurred in the early morning hours of July 6 at the home of Jennifer Gambill at 839 N. 10th Street in Decatur. Mark Gambill is the husband of Jennifer Gambill, but they have been separated for several years. Mark Gambill lives in a separate residence from Jennifer which is located next door to the 839 N. 10th Street residence. After an investigation and statements from other witnesses, Mark Gambill was arrested for attempted arson, a level 4 felony. The Decatur Fire Department assisted at the scene on the morning of July 6th.
