
The first nine-hole match of the 2024 golf season for the Heritage Patriots resulted in a close loss by five strokes to the Garrett Railroaders Thursday.
After playing in a very early 18-hole tournament earlier in the week in Adams County, the Patriots played on their home course at McMillen against Garrett and Concordia Lutheran.
The Cadets won the meet easily with a team score of 169 strokes, while Garrett was at 219.

Alexis Bremer was the best scorer for the Patriots with a round of 54, her best round of the year so far.
Natalie Sorg was just behind her with a 56, while Aubrey Stoll, Morgan Comment and Liz Buuck all finished with 57s.
ACAC action will begin Monday when the Patriots host Jay County at McMillen.
