Another event honoring the three young Decatur men killed by a drunk driver in June of 2020, will be held Saturday at the REV Sports Complex in Hanna-Nuttman Park.
A total of 16 teams will be competing in the fifth annual TJC Wiffleball Tournament, with competition starting around 10 a.m. The double-elimination event is expected to last through much of the afternoon.

The tournament will honor Trevor Ortiz, Jordan Fuelling and Connor Brite, with funds raised – through sponsorships and other means – going to Adams County Community Foundation scholarships in their names The REV Sports Complex will also benefit.
The 2023 event raised $12,360, well over the goal of $10,000. This year’s goal has been set at $13,000.
T-shirts will be available for $15.
Concessions will be available, including pizza prepared on site.
The team of Mason Burkholder, Corey Miller, Jon Ruble, Colin Mills, Parker Bates, Brady Manis, Luke Strickler, Aaron Lehrman, Payton Boyd, and Tyler Bauer won last year’s tournament, its third in four years.
The wiffleball battle is the second event of the year which honors the three young men, following the June 14 Wildflowers celebration downtown.
A third event, a golf outing, is scheduled for Saturday, August 3.
