Eastbrook claimed the local golf sectional Friday at Timber Ridge and the Panthers, along with Norwell and Bluffton, will play again as a team in next week’s regional, along with advancing individuals Owen Minnick of Bellmont and Keaton Bush and Avery Biberstine from Adams Central.
Andrew Jarck of Eastbrook was the only player to break 80, taking medalist honors with a 78.
The Bluffton Tigers put two players in the top five to edge Bellmont for the coveted third-place spot by three strokes, with Declan Grieser’s 80 and Connor Klopfenstein’s 81.
Minnick shot 80 to keep the Bellmont season alive, while Bush and Biberstine each finished with 85s.
