Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita will be the keynote speaker of the May 2024 Adams County Republican Meeting that takes place on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at The Galley Restaurant located in Decatur.
Party officials note that attendees may join in for fellowship and dinner at 5:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 6:00 pm.
Rokita was elected to office on November 3, 2020, having earned the highest number of votes of any state office holder in Indiana history.
Republican party chair Steve Justus made the following statement in a press release to WZBD:
“As the chief legal officer, Rokita has fought to protect Hoosiers from crime, fight lawlessness in our streets, uphold the rule of law, support our men and women in law enforcement, and protect our constitutional rights. Rokita has defended Hoosiers’ individual liberties and has demonstrated that commitment with his release of the Parents’ Bill of Rights, his relentless defense of the unborn, his fight against the federal government’s overreach, and fearless pursuit of Big Tech.”
Anyone who is interested in Republican politics, or wants to get involved, is welcome to join, says Justus. For more information about the Adams County Republican Party, contact Adams County Republican Party Justus at 260-766-8046.
