Lakewood Park Christian had no answer for the Adams Central batting lineup Tuesday, allowing 20 runs in just four innings while also battling wet conditions as the Jets won 20-3.
Lakewood actually led 1-0 after the first inning, but AC scored three times in the second and never looked back. Every starter in the Jet lineup recorded at least one hit except for Keegan Bluhm, who only got one at-bat because he drew three walks.
The Jets also benefitted from five Lakewood Park errors.
Trevor Currie hit a home run to add to his team-leading RBI total of 32 in his senior season.
Jameson Roach started the game on the mound for AC and struck out six while allowing just the one run in three innings.
Currie got a cameo on the mound and was awarded the victory, while Ryan Tester was assigned clean-up duties and saw out the game in the top of the fifth.
The Jets have two more home games scheduled this week to wrap up their home season with Homestead Wednesday and Blackford Thursday.
