Brady Richman struck out ten and shut out the Jay County Patriots Saturday, putting the Heritage Patriots just two wins away from another sweep of the ACAC and a conference title.
The two games remaining for Heritage are the rain-paused game against Adams Central, which will be played Monday on Monroeville Road and heard on WZBD, and the game in Berne against the Starfires, which will also be on 92.7 FM.
Richman gave up just three hits and walked none. All three hits allowed were singles and they each came in a different inning.
For the home Patriots, Richman and Andrew Mirelez delivered the big hits. The tall hurler delivered a two-run double (the only extra-base hit of the contest) and the speedy third baseman had two singles for an RBI.
