Nancy Lee Earhart-Whited, 74, of Portland, Indiana passed away Sunday afternoon, April 14, 2024, at Persimmon Ridge Rehabilitation Center in Portland, Indiana.
She was born on November 19, 1949, in Bluffton, Indiana to the late Orva Earhart and the late Henrietta (Harris) Earhart.
Nancy was a Nurse’s Aide for Methodist Home in Warren for 16 years, Wells County Home, and Coopers Nursing Home.
She was a Bingo fanatic and loved the Chicago Bears.
Nancy is survived by her sister, Carolyn Patch of Geneva, Indiana; and brother, William “Bill” Earhart of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Joey Whited and Frank Earhart; daughter-in-law, Tracy Earhart; companion, David Holder; brother, Daniel Earhart and two sisters, Jan Collier and Cindy Compton.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Yager-Kirchhofer Chapel in Berne, Indiana with Pastor Dathen Foust officiating. Burial will follow at M.R.E. Cemetery in Berne, Indiana.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
