After a long weekend of wrestling, we take a look back with audio and our photos at the most memorable match of the State Finals.

Hearing about his win back home, hundreds upon hundreds of people flooded the comments sections of WZBD’s posts about the victory, with over 1000 people liking the post about his state medal.





Over a thousand listeners tuned in late Saturday night to hear WZBD’s coverage of the championship bout at 165.




While his finals match did not go the way he wanted it to, Myers once again captured the wrestling spirit of Decatur and Adams County with his appearance in the finals, nearly bringing his hometown to a standstill for his six minutes.



As he stood on the medal stand for the third time in his career at the State Finals it was confirmed without a doubt that Myers had triumphed over adversity in his life. The senior will relish his last few months at Bellmont before beginning a new journey at Michigan State this summer.
