Heritage’s Andrew Mirelez won a sectional title at 138 pounds with a 5-0 decision over Kendi Quoi in the championship bout.
Heavyweight Logan Teichman also advanced to Saturday’s regional with a fourth-place finish at heavyweight. Teichman knocked off Collin Grayless of Homestead in the blood round to survive for another week.

It was a close race at the top of the team leaderboard, with New Haven having just enough to stay ahead of Snider and Homestead.
The top four wrestlers in each sectional advance to Saturday’s regional at Carroll.
