The Adams County Commissioners want county residents to know that they are not holding closed door meetings on the future of planning and zoning in Adams County, and no changes will be made until a new comprehensive plan has been finalized and approved by local leaders.
Commissioner Steve Kuhn says although discussions on the county’s comprehensive plan have started, they have yet to decide on anything, because no formal committee has yet been established and the talks have only started on the issue…
Kuhn says the talks won’t really start about changing the county’s comprehensive plan until the steering committee is formed, and it will include many county residents in many aspects of government, private business and industry, and all areas of life in Adams County, including the Amish.
The next meeting will take place this Friday morning at 10am in the Commissioners Room of the County Government Complex.
