Make it seven candidates for three at-large seats on the Adams County Council.
Veteran councilman Dennis Bluhm (photo) filed his candidacy papers in the county clerk’s office Tuesday, seeking a new term as an at-large member of the county governmental body.
That means seven individuals – including the three incumbents – will be vying in the county Republican primary field.
Bluhm, John Summers and Cathy Mitchel currently hold the three at-large seats.
Also in the field this year are Shawn Hamrick, Lance Fletcher, Gina Melcher and A.J. Bertsch.
Bluhm, a longtime pharmacist in Adams and Wells counties, currently serves as the council’s president.
