The Bellmont Braves finished off their home season with a win over Yorktown as they honored seniors in front of the home crowd.
The Braves were without Gavin Davis, but Landon Rich filled in and scored a victory in overtime. Bellmont is also now without a 138 for the foreseeable future as they were forced to forfeit that weight Thursday night. That weight was not contested as Yorktown was also without a 138.
The heart of the Yorktown lineup put a hurting on Bellmont’s middle weights, as they took out seniors Keven Loshe and Blake Luginbill and handed sophomore Sam Wolpert a rare loss, but the upper weights helped the Braves come from behind to pick up a convincing victory in the penultimate dual meet of the season.
