The second day also gave a boost to the Jets’ 1A title hopes with Keegan Bluhm stepping onto the mat for the first time this season and scoring a quick 40-second fall.
The Jets finished off the dual meet victory over Marian with quick 30-second falls by Zac Wurm and Myles Kaehr to win 67-6.
Next up for Adams Central could be the toughest opponent of the tournament, New Prairie.
The Jets are off to a good start with falls by Jackson Bingham and Dylan Ogg.
Brason Schortgen needed a late nearfall to win 4-3.
Up next for the Jets is Kokomo, who have some outstanding individuals.
One of the most anticipated matches of the dual was Chad Washburn and Trevor Currie at 190 and it was Washburn who came up with the win by fall.
Keegan Bluhm bounced back for the Jets though and scored a fall in just 13 seconds at 220.
The Jets defeated Kokomo 65-12.
Next up is Calumet.
The Jets have started with three falls for an 18-0 lead against Calumet.
Next up is the most meaningful dual of the day against Faith Christian, one of the 11 teams competing with AC at 1A Team State.
The Jets will begin at 138 with Mac Dubach.
Adams Central took the lead after Heiser won 1-0.
The Jets have built a big lead with pins by Currie, McAfee, Wurm and Myles Kaehr.
That puts AC at 10-0 over the two days here at Lafayette Jeff and gives them the team title.
