The suspect in the investigation of two weekend robberies has been identified as 24-year-old Taylor A. Vannett, who is currently in custody at the Huntington County Jail, where he faces similar charges of a third robbery and resisting law enforcement. Detectives with the Decatur Police Department linked Taylor to the two local crimes through various articles of evidence and a thorough investigation. Detectives worked with investigators from multiple agencies to positively link Vannett to the Decatur robberies. Local criminal charges are pending and will be filed with the Adams County Prosecutor’s Office. Vannett is
currently on parole through Ohio for similar charges he was arrested for in 2020.
