Coaches and captains of the 12 remaining high school football teams in Indianapolis participated in the annual Media Day for the IHSAA State Finals Monday at Lucas Oil Stadium and there is plenty of buzz about the 1A game, featuring Indy Lutheran and Adams Central for the third successive year.
Both teams are undefeated and have not lost in 2023.
Friday’s game is slated to kick off at 11 a.m., with pre-game coverage scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on 92.7 FM, WZBD.
While many local fans will be in attendance, this year’s 1A championship game (and all the other games) will be webcast behind a paywall, with the IHSAATV.org feed costing $15.
This season will be WZBD’s fourth straight season at Lucas Oil Stadium covering an Adams County team in the 1A State Championship Game.
