On the final day of the regular season, the Adams Central Jets won another tournament trophy, beating ACAC rival Jay County in the final and capping a 4-0 day.

The Jets began the day with a straight-set (25-23, 25-16) victory over Northeastern. Senior Hillary Tobias led the team with 13 kills and Mati Henry scored three aces for the Jets in the win.
Adams Central then needed three sets to beat Lawrenceburg (18-25, 25-18, 15-7) for their second win of the day. Tobias again led the team in kills with 11, while Jenna Cook added six. Maci Henry had 11 digs.
The third match of the day also went three set, but the Jets overcame a rough second set to beat Whiteland 25-18, 23-25, 15-11. Tobias had 13 kills and Mati Henry had six, while Macy Smith and Maci Henry each had 17 digs.

In the final match, Adams Central met familiar foe Jay County and won 25-20, 25-23. Tobias was the leader again in kills with eight.
Adams Central will take on Bishop Luers in their sectional opener Thursday at Bluffton. That match will be broadcast live on WZBD. The Jets are favored to reach the finals against South Adams for a rubber match between the two rivals. That match would also be broadcast live on 92.7 FM Saturday evening.
