The Bellmont tennis team had its best showing of the season up at East Noble Thursday but just could not find the third point they needed to defeat the host Knights.
Bryson Ball won his second match in a row and Layne LeMaster won his first ever varsity match.
The Braves will play another NE8 match Tuesday at Leo.
