It was an unfamiliar course for the South Adams Starfires, but it made no difference as coach Chris Toledo’s team played in beautiful weather Thursday night and pulled off a conference double, beating Woodlan and Southern Wells in a competitive ACAC match at Dogwood Glen.
The trip to Warren marked the end of a long week of golf for the team and they will not play again until Wednesday when they return home to Wabash Valley to play Mississinewa. After a match at Winchester, the team will compete in the ACAC tournament at Celina Lynx.
Julia Arnold finished with a 53 to claim medalist honors in the three-way meet, beating out teammate Ady Toland by two strokes. Megan Yoder finished with a 56.
Rounding out the scoring for the Stars was Addy Hinton with a 60. Sophia Orr shot a 70 from the No. 5 spot.
