Senior captain Emma Scheumann scored early in the contest between Norwell and Bellmont Tuesday night and the visiting Braves’ defense made the goal count in a 1-0 victory in one of the most important fixtures on the Bellmont schedule.
Scheumann’s early shot was the only one of nine shots on goal that got past Norwell keeper Gracie Rinkenberger in the 80 minutes.
