Officials at the Wells County Conservation & Gun Club have been holding monthly shooting range exercises on the first Sunday of each month this summer and encourage the public to come out and enjoy the range on the next shoot.

The start time for the monthly shoot is always 11:30 a.m. The cost is $5 for 25 targets and participants can bring their own shells or purchase them from the club on site.
One range at the club offers a mix of 11 different clay target throwers, while the other range is nicknamed the “crazy trailer” because sharpshooters never get the same target twice in a row.

Leonard Rekeweg, an official with the club, noted that the shoot is always open to the public at 2525 E 400 N outside of Ossian.
“Come and visit the nicest target range in the area,” he urged.
