DANE FUELLING

Having survived the opening week of the season with plenty of golf under their collective belts, four of the seven ACAC schools met at McMillen on the back nine and it was the South Adams Starfires who were a cut above the rest, picking up three conference wins on the par 33 course.
The Starfires got outstanding rounds from Addy Hinton and Julia Arnold, who both shot 49. Hinton, who played at No. 4 for coach Chris Toledo, shaved eight strokes off her season best nine-hole score.

The Heritage Patriots cut four strokes off their last trip around the back nine to shoot 217 and were led by Natalie Otte’s 50. Alexis Bremer and Aubree Rebeck shot new season bests at their home course, as did Aubrey Stoll.
