Annabrooke Alverson, 24, of Anderson, Indiana, died unexpectedly on Monday, July 24. She was the daughter of Brian and Sandy Alverson. Brian, a former Decatur resident, graduated from Bellmont in 1989.
Annabrooke was a disabled child to whom Brian and Sandy dedicated their lives, advocating for her and others like her at every opportunity. Brian even testified before the Indiana legislature about the need for more public resources for the care of children with autism.
Annabrooke was loved by many. She enjoyed car rides, especially if they included a stop at Chick Fil A.
