Any business or individual who would like to sponsor a concert on the Madison St. Plaza should contact the Decatur Chamber of Commerce.
Chamber officials are attempting to reschedule E5C4P3, the Journey tribute band which was set to perform last Thursday when a storm washed away the concert.
Storm or no storm, the band still gets paid, and there also are bills for security, etc. So to reschedule, more funds are an absolute requirement.

This Thursday’s concert will feature Thunderstruck, an AC/DC tribute band, playing from 7 to 9 p.m.
Local talent will be back on the stage, with 17-year-old Marshall Turner (photo) to perform “Count on Me” by Bruno Mars at 6:45 p.m.

Thunderstruck’s website says the following: “From Kyle LaPato’s strong on-stage performance replicating the Angus Young of the 80’s and 90’s, to Bobby Lee Stamper’s versatile vocals mimicking both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson ranges, to the incredible rhythm section made up of Kevin Feller on rhythm guitar, Corey Baetz on drums, and Chris Jones on bass, Thunderstruck gives a complete and consistently quality live show as true to the spirit of AC/DC that you can possibly get.”
There will be no admission charge. Food vendors will be available, Andy’s Coney Bar will be open, and adult beverages will be provided by 2 Pour Guys.
