Eric Doden, businessman and Republican candidate for Governor, visited Adams County on Saturday as he spoke at the Adams County Republican Party Ronald Reagan Ice Cream Social. It was Reagan that proclaimed July as ice cream month while President in 1984.

In the race to replace Rep. Jim Banks, Wendy Davis had the most cash on hand, according to reports filed with the Federal Election Commission. She has been endorsed by public officials in Adams County that include Berne City Councilwoman Kelly Amstutz, Sheriff Dan Mawhorr, Commissioners Steve Bailey and Stan Stoppenhagen, and County Councilman Rex Moore.
