Patty L. Marquardt, 86, of Monroeville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Adams Heritage in Monroeville, Indiana.
She was born on April 21, 1937 in Van Wert, Ohio to the late Roy Gaskill and the late Marie (Fegley) Gaskill.
Patty was united in marriage to Arthur D. Marquardt on June 26, 1955 in Monroeville, and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2000.
Patty graduated from Convoy Union High School in 1955. She was a homemaker and a child care provider for several years.
She was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church. Patty enjoyed her iPad, reading cookbooks and finding new recipes, and crocheting. She loved to go bicycle riding, camping, and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Steven) Luginbill of Monroeville, Indiana; granddaughter, Andrea (Scott) Spencer of Monroeville, Indiana; grandson, Jarod (Alicia) Luginbill of Monroeville, Indiana; great grandchildren, Connor, Rylee, Landon, Arlen, and Wren; sister, Janice Decker of Van Wert, Ohio; and sister, Thelma Gerardot of Monroeville, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Exline.
In honoring the family’s wishes, there will be no public funeral service.
