The IHSAA made public Friday the details regarding the state tournament for the upcoming girls golf season.
While the same 12 schools will compete for the IHSAA trophy and advancement to the regional, the tournament will now be hosted by perennial favorite Homestead. Previous tournaments had been played at Timber Ridge in Bluffton.
This year’s mid-September tournament will now be played across 18 holes at Chestnut Hills Golf Club in Fort Wayne.
The Homestead Spartans have won eight sectionals in a row, including the 2022 tournament, where they won by 87 strokes.
The regional will be played at Noble Hawk.
