“You could not have asked for better weather.”

Decatur Chamber of Commerce President Craig Coshow was all smiles early Saturday morning as he coordinated a long list of events during “Downtown Decatur Day.” With Dick the Bruiser, Jr. and his friends setting up behind him on the Plaza and dozens and dozens of vendors selling their wares, Coshow was busy announcing what event was up next.

Along with the tents which lined 2nd Street for the morning, there was live entertainment from Razz M’ Jazz Dance Studio, professional wrestling, a dunk tank, and lots and lots of food available.

“This is great,” said Decatur mayor Dan Rickord. “This is exactly what we envisioned and it’s great to see it come together. The golf cart parade was a huge success and it was honestly a whole lot of fun.”
