The golfing season for local teams came to an end, with the Bellmont and Norwell teams being eliminated at the regional at the Players Club in Muncie.
Bellmont placed 10th in the regional with a score of 343 and Norwell placed 14th with a score of 365.
The winning team was Hamilton Southeastern with an amazing score of 289.
Leading the Braves was Winston Brown with a 78, followed by Owen Minnick with an 81.

Gage Bressler shot an 88, followed by Jimmy Haines with a 96 and Bryce Rickord had a 100. Both Bressler and Rickord had a disastrous 4th hole, scoring a five-over par 10 on the par 5 hole.
For Norwell, the Knights were led by Ethan Ottinger with an 88, followed by Derek Smith’s 89, Cooper Sloan had a 91, Chase Hulvey a 97, and Ashton Federspiel had a 101.
Playing as an individual was Bluffton’s Keegan Schwartz, who scored a 75, but did not advance because of the tiebreaker.
Also advancing as a team were Tipton and Noblesville, beating out Yorktown, Heritage Christian and Cathedral. The Braves officially finished 37 shots back.
