Nancy Ann McCroskey, 87 of rural Wells County, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at Envive Healthcare in Hartford City, Indiana.
Nancy was born on November 19, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Niels Moller and Anna Mae Bell (Mock) Moller. She married Donald McCroskey on July 22, 1966, in Marion, Indiana; he passed away on April 13, 2007. Nancy worked for the Marion Chronicle Tribune for 15 years and retired in 1982 to stay at home with her family. Â She spent a lot of time milking dairy cows and had a love for painting and crafts, horses, ponies, and cows. Nancy was a lifetime member of the Indiana Saddle Horse Association and a member of the Circle G Saddle Club.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Randy McCroskey, and grandson, James Holt.
Loving survivors include her children, Robert (Wife, Brenda) Holt of Cleveland, TN, Karen (Holt) (Kramer) Webb of Van Buren, IN, daughter-in-law Katherine McCroskey of Van Buren, IN, grandchildren, Chelle Bridges, of Converse, IN, Dana Jo Holt, of Lauderdale, MN, Craig Kramer, of Van Buren, IN, Christopher Kramer, of Marion, IN, Holly Kershner, of Marion, IN, Robert Holt, of Trimble, MO, Shannon Heyde, of Van Buren, IN, and Kyle Webb, of Van Buren, IN, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
In honor of Nancy’s wishes, there will be a memorial service held at a later date.
