Noah Redmon threw a complete game, guiding the Heritage Patriots to an 11-5 win over Leo Saturday, sending the team to a championship game against Concordia on Memorial Day.
Redmon struck out four and allowed three earned runs and eight hits.
Both teams scored twice in the second and Heritage answered with two runs in the top of the third.
The Patriots led it 4-2 heading into the sixth until they scored four times in the inning, then added three more insurance runs in the seventh to build an 11-2 lead. Leo mounted a comeback and scored three times off Redmon but it was too little, too late for the Lions.
Andrew Mirelez had two hits and scored twice, while Redmon drove in two runs himself at the plate.
Heritage 1B Jackson Bearman had two doubles and Dalton White was 3 for 5 with a double.
