Tuesday’s win over Bishop Luers was the second victory in two nights for the Bellmont Braves as they beat the Knights at the Ash Center, 11-4.
Mary Kate Scheumann pitched for Bellmont, striking out six and allowing three earned runs in her seven innings of work. She was also 2 for 4 at the plate.
Sami Christen was 3 for 4 with two runs scored and a triple, while Emily Bleke drove in three runs from the leadoff spot with a 2 for 4 night.
The Braves are now 10-8 on the year with a game against DeKalb at home Wednesday night.
