Another season without a softball program for Marion High School has resulted in Bellmont and Norwell competing in just a five-team sectional this postseason. The loss of Heritage and Mississinewa from the field has also created a much different dynamic in this year’s bracket from years past.
The odds-on favorites will be Norwell and Bellmont to reach the final in a rematch of last year’s Bellmont Sectional finals. The two teams met last week and Bellmont came away with a 5-2 victory.

Game 1 – Norwell (6-5) vs. Oak Hill (3-6)
Semifinal 1 – Bellmont (7-7) vs. Peru (2-8)
Semifinal 2 -Winner of Game 1 vs. Maconaquah (6-6)
