Woodlan stopped a six-game win streak for the Adams Central Jets Tuesday night with a 6-3 victory in ACAC play with a complete game victory for Grant Sheehan.
Sheehan struck out six batters and allowed just one earned run across his seven innings of work, scattering seven hits. He did hit three batters, but the Warriors provided the run support he needed, starting with a 3-0 lead after an inning and a half.
Those first three runs came against AC starter Dakota Perry, who took the loss, giving up five runs in 5.1 innings of work.
Logan Uhlman had three singles for the Jets and scored two runs, while Trevor Currie had two hits in the losing efforts for Adams Central.
Ryan Tester had the only extra-base hit for the home team to go along with a walk.
Adams Central tied the game at three when Keegan Bluhm singled home Uhlman, but Woodlan scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning to win the game.
