Adams Central continued its winning ways Saturday in the ACAC Championships at Bluffton on Saturday, taking four of the top seven spots.

It has been quite a season for the Jets as they’ve won several trophies in the last six weeks and continue to cut times heading into next week’s sectional at Delta.
The new format by the IHSAA has split the former Bellmont sectional into two, with Heritage moving north with the Fort Wayne teams and now running in the Woodlan sectional at the Plex.
Schools from Adams, Wells, Jay and Randolph counties will join several Delaware county schools to make up the new sectional at Delta. Adams Central, Bellmont, Blackford, Bluffton, Delta, Eastbrook, Jay County, Monroe Central, Norwell, Randolph Southern, South Adams, Southern Wells, Union (Modoc), Union City, Wapahani and Winchester Community will all hope to advance next week.
Two Heritage runners, Ava Smith and Elise Hissong, pulled double duty Saturday. They both ran Saturday morning at Bluffton and then did more running at Norwell for the soccer team in their sectional title game against Bellmont. Smith finished 15th for Heritage.
