Adams Central and Bluffton took part in the Taylor Trojan Opener. On the boys side, 15 teams took part with Lapel winning. Bluffton was 5th as a team, led by Tyler Godwin with a 4th place finish, Levi Johns 16th, Jude Baumgartner 18th, Ayden Teeple 42nd, Griffin Linderwell 50th, Aidan Graves 52nd, and Jackson Rockwell 56th. Adams Central placed 11th, and led by Trevor Schwartz’s 13th place finish, Carter Steele 44th, Ethan Crockett 51st, Jackson Shoaf 61st, Bryson Edgell 79th, Vince Laukhuf 127th, and Phillip Bayer 145th. On the girls side of the meet, Pendleton Heights won the 15 team field. Adams Central placed 2nd, 33 points back, and saw Gabi Landis place 6th, Madison Gerber 7th, Addison Gilbert 15th, Alyssa Fruechte 23rd, Madison Hamilton 33rd, Josie Shoaf 40th, and Abby Jauregui 61st. Bluffton finished 10th, led by Dakota Lee 46th, Lucia Corkwell 70th, Kierstynn Reed 72nd, Amarah Robles 74th, Reagan Harris 75th, Alydia Bertsch 81st, and Sophia Mayne 97th.
South Adams took part in the popular Jeremy Wright/Southwestern Shelby Invite. The Starfire girls placed 4th in the 32 team field, which was won by Centerville. Addy Watson finished 20th, Aleena Bierbaum 22nd, Nia Litwiller 33rd, Ava Kinsey 52nd, Ayla Loshe 57th, Kalle Trausch 68th, and Stella McIntire 97th. For the boys, South Adams would finish 2nd, behind Milan in the 36 team field. Dakota Sprunger finished 13th, Wyatt Mann 16th, Carson Laux and Deacon Bierbaum crossed the same time for 26th, Mark McKinley 32nd, Zach Schwartz 63rd, and Daniel Rupp 82nd.
Norwell went to the Huntington North Invitational. The boys placed 12th out of 14 teams, led by a 40th place finish, Gage Reinhard 44th, Elijah Jacob 64th, Lukas Mashuda 76th, Luke Johnson 98th, Kale Meredith 102nd, and Zathan Westfall 108th. The girls finished 10th out of 13 teams. Ashley Waldman was 30th, Elizabeth 37th, Haleigh Reinhard 46th, Brooklyn Meyer 56th, Addison Meyer 64th, Kylee Hannie 73rd, and Alana Cady 76th.
Southern Wells traveled down to Monroe Central for the Meister Family Memorial Invite. The girls placed 6th out of 14 teams, led by Alexis Leidig’s 30th, Adeline Sabinske 43rd, Ella Lahr 50th, Chanie Mounsey 51st, and Karlee Warner 58th. The boys finished 4th of 15 teams, with Joshua Bricker placing 10th, Andrew Aker 19th, Jarin Frauhiger 24th, Colter Kiel 26th, Kane Jenkins 27th, Kelton Barr 30th, and Peyton Ellis 36th.
