The music of the world-renowned U2 band will be coming to the Madison St. Plaza for the first time on Thursday as The Push, a U2 tribute band, will kick off the Decatur Chamber of Commece’s 2026 summer Concert Series.
It will mark the first of 13 consecutive Thursdays with live music on the plaza’s stage and the Riverside Center parking lot.
The Push is scheduled to perform from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
No admission is charged.
Various food items will be for sale and the Oasis Pub will be offering adult beverages.
Four men comprise The Push and will present the music of U2, an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1976.

June 18 – E5C4P3 (Journey), 7 – 9:30 pm

July 2 – Proud Mary CCR, 6 – 9 pm
July 9 – Whoa Man, 6 – 9 pm
July 16 – Strait Jack, 6 – 9 pm
July 23 – Silver Stallion (Hiwaymen) , 7 – 9 pm
July 30 – Seymour (John Mellencamp), 7 – 9 pm
August 6 – Derek Jones Band, 7 – 9 pm
August 13 – Simply the Best (Tina Turner), 7 – 9:15 pm
Aug 20 – Sunglasses At Night, 6 – 9 pm
Aug 27 – The Bulldogs, 7 – 9 pm
