A trio of Decatur Main Street events are coming up the next three weekends as part of the celebration of Halloween.
This Friday, the organization will hold a Halloween Bash on the Madison St. Plaza, an event geared to families.
From 5 to 8 p.m., the bash will include pumpkin painting,m inflatables, carnival games, a costume contest, fall and Halloween vendors, food and treats, music and a haunted alleyway.
No admission will be charged.

“Join Decatur Main Street for an evening packed with Halloween fun for the whole family,” an announcement said.
PUB CRAWL: A Zombie Pub Crawl is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23, 7-11 p.m.
Wrist bands for the event will be $5.

“Grab your friends, put on your best Halloween costume, and crawl your way through participating downtown bars and restaurants while enjoying exclusive food and drink specials,” Decatur Main Street said in an announcement.
Every time a participant wearing a wristband purchases a drink, the person will receive a numbered duck … while supplies last.
Then, at 11 p.m., a winning duck number will be randomly selected and posted on Decatur Main Street’s Facebook page.

The winner will receive $75 in gift certificates to downtown businesses of their choice.
Crawl participants include: Vinnie’s, 2 Brothers, VFW, Wet Spot, Soul Pig, American Legion, and Monster Pizza.

SOLD OUT: A third Main Street offering, a Murder Mystery Event, is sold out.
“The Art of the Murder, an Art Heist, will be held at the downtown HIVE on Friday, Oct 16, 7:30-9:30.
Tickets were $30 per person.
