Kingston Galentine did it all Wednesday night and nearly hit for the cycle as the Heritage Patriots continued their domination of the ACAC with a 14-6 thrashing of the Woodlan Warriors.
Galentine did the hard part of the cycle, tripling in the first and homering in the second, before picking up a single in the fifth. The only thing missing on his night was the double, but he still drove in three on a 3-for-5 night against his ACAC rivals.

Much like he did on the basketball court this winter, where he led the Patriots in scoring in their victory at Woodlan, Galentine was the key cog in the top half of the Heritage lineup, moving Beau Stoppenhagen to the next base and then scoring twice on hits by Lucas Taylor and Max Mirelez.

Mirelez, who batted cleanup and drew three walks, threw into the sixth before he met the pitch count. He struck out eight and allowed three earned runs (along with three unearned).

The relentless Heritage attack never allowed Woodlan to get a foothold in the game, with the Patriots scoring in all but one inning against four different pitchers. Will Delagrange was saddled with the loss after his start ended after getting just four outs and allowing seven earned runs.

Eli Rauner had a three-hit night, driving in four runs for the visitors, who will play Adams Central at home Thursday night on WZBD.
