Adams Health has announced that Joe Callow, RN, has been selected as the latest recipient of the prestigious DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
The DAISY Award recognizes nurses who demonstrate exceptional clinical excellence, compassionate care, and an unwavering commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
Callow was honored during a special DAISY Award ceremony held at Adams Memorial Hospital, where co-workers, family members, and the individual who nominated him gathered to celebrate his dedication to nursing and patient care.
His family includes three generations of nurses.

“At Adams Health, we are incredibly proud of the compassionate professionals who care for our patients every day,” said Chris Butler, RN/CNO.
“Joe Callow exemplifies the qualities that define exceptional nursing – kindness, clinical excellence, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to serving others.
“His dedication has made a lasting impact on the lives of his patients, their families, and his fellow team members, and we are honored to recognize him with this well-deserved DAISY Award.”
The DAISY Award is presented throughout the year to nurses who are nominated by patients, families, and colleagues for the extraordinary care they provide.
