| The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the closure of State Road 124 for bridge construction near Bluffton. Starting on or after March 30, crews will complete a bridge deck overlay on S.R. 124 between S.R. 124/State Road 116 and County Roads 100 E. and 100 N. over the Wabash River. Work on the project is expected to be complete by mid-August. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change. During construction, drivers should use the official detour of State Road 1, State Road 218 and State Road 3, or seek an alternate route. INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones. |
