It was made official at Tuesday night’s meeting of the North Adams School Board that Blake Blaker was named the new football coach. Athletic Director Aaron Baker introduced him to the board and Blaker made a few comments to the board last night…
Blaker comes to Bellmont after leading Southern Wells the last two years, compiling a 2-18 record, with previous stops on the Central Noble, Fort Wayne South, Concordia, and Huntington North coaching staffs. A graduate of Eastside High School, he also played collegiately at Ball State and at St. Francis, where he was a part of the 2016-17 NAIA Championship team.
Blaker will also be a social studies teacher at Bellmont. He is currently working on assembling his coaching staff, and will have a meet and greet at a later date.
