All three Adams County golf teams were in action Wednesday night on a beautiful weather night as the regular season draws to a close. South Adams easily defeated New Haven on the road, while a new course proved much more difficult for the Bellmont Braves, who ran into a buzzsaw at East Noble. Here’s a full rundown of the results just ten days away from the IHSAA sectional at Chestnut Hills.

At Whispering Creek: South Adams 201 New Haven 239
Brooklyn Green and Kendall Minger both continued their strong play in recent weeks with personal best nine-hole scores to lead the Starfires to a non-conference victory.

The Starfires are away again on Thursday night as they take on Winchester at the Winchester Golf Club.

South Adams Scores: Brooklyn Green 43, Kendall Minger 47, Sophia Orr 52, Audrey Orr 59, Haddie McKinley 66



At Noble Hawk: East Noble 167 Bellmont 203
East Noble claimed third place in the NE8 with a convincing home win over Bellmont, who had to settle for a fourth-place finish in the conference with a final record of 4-3.
Ella Hockemeyer was the only Brave with experience on the tough Noble Hawk course and she used a birdie-two on the 17th to shoot a 46 – tops for the visitors.
Lily Oburn of East Noble took medalist honors with a +1 round of 36.
The Braves are now 7-5 on the season.
