Bellmont dominated the Wayne Generals Thursday at home, winning all five varsity matches in straight sets.
The Braves were down a man after Averie Coats suffered an injury earlier in the week, but Lilly Alberding stepped up to a varsity spot with doubles partner Alyssa Coffey and played well.

“Averie had a concussion, so she was unavailable,” noted head coach Kyle Arnold. “Lilly stepped up for us.”
Arnold noted that Coats should be good to go for next week’s matches, including the showdown with South Adams on Thursday.
